The Latino Leaders Network is dedicated to “Bringing Leaders Together” to establish relationships and dialogue on issues important to the community.

Signature Events

The Latino Leaders Luncheon Series™ was launched by the Ibarra Strategy Group in 2004 to provide a platform for prominent Latinos to share their personal story of obstacles overcome to achieve success.

Tribute to Mayors — Since 2003 during the U.S. Conference of Mayors winter and summer meetings, the Latino Leaders Network has convened mayors and local leaders to honor mayors who are bringing their communities together.

About the Board

Mickey Ibarra
Founder and Chairman

Mickey Ibarra is President of the Ibarra Strategy Group, a government relations and public affairs firm based in Washington, D.C. He serves as a board member of MALDEF and the Ibarra Foundation. Mickey previously served as Assistant to the President and Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the White House from 1997-2001. He is a graduate of the University of Utah with a Master’s degree and an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters.

 

David Ibarra, founder of eLeaderTech, Inc., IBG, Inc. Founded the Ibarra Foundation in 2004, which supports continuing education.

Ken Trujillo is a founding member of Trujillo Rodriguez & Richards, LLC.

Michelle Minguez Moore serves a Senior Advisor to Voto Latino.

Maria Teresa Kumar, serves as the founding Executive Director for Voto Latino, a youth voter education organization aimed at registering young American Latinos.

Miguel Santana serves as City Administrative Officer for Los Angeles.

Ruben Alvarez is Co-founder and Managing Partner of the Molera-Alvarez Group, a Phoenix-based business development and consulting firm.

Soyla Fernandez is founding partner of the Fernández Government Solutions.
