United States Attorney General Alberto Gonzales was the featured speaker on November 2, 2005 at the St. Regis Hotel in Washington, D.C. The telling of his personal story provided much inspiration to the nearly 200 guests in attendance.. The program included an introduction by United States Treasurer Ana Escobedo Cabral, an invocation for Dia de los Muertos by Philadelphia Councilman Juan Ramos, and remarks by Regina Montoya, CEO of the New America Alliance.

Just days after his historic victory, Mayor-elect Antonio Villaraigosa keynoted the luncheon on June 1, 2005. His remarks focused on his path to becoming the mayor of the second largest city in the country. Los Angeles City Council President Alex Padilla and Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the White House, Ruben Barrales also addressed the audience.

Ken Salazar, Senator and John Salazar, Congressman

Senator Ken Salazar and Representative John Salazar each delivered inspirational keynote addresses focusing on the importance of family and community. Remarks were also delivered by Ron Blackburn-Moreno, Chair of the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda, then Congressman Bob Menendez, Chair of the Democratic Caucus and Janet Murguia, President of the National Council of La Raza.
