LATINO LEADERS SPEAK
Latino Leaders Speak: Personal Stories of Struggle and Triumph, published by Arte Público Press at the University of Houston, includes 33 keynote addresses delivered at the Latino Leaders Luncheon Series. As this book makes clear, the Latino community has role models, inspiring heroes and outstanding leaders whose stories need to be told. Readers will be inspired to dream big, get prepared and get ready to lead. A curriculum guide is available to support high school and early college educators to engage students using the rich stories of Latino leaders in contemporary society with a global competence lens. A Book Sponsorship is offered at all 2020 events.
