Description: 

The Latino Leaders Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to “Bringing Leaders Together”, will host a Cafecito Series to honor Natalie Montelongo, Deputy Director, Office of Political Strategy and Outreach at The White House, with the Rising Star Award.  The program will feature an intergenerational conversation with  the honoree, Regina Montoya, former White House senior official and Ken Trujillo of the Latino Leaders Network board of directors.

 

The Cafecito Series is our new digital platform aimed to educate, inspire, and prepare the next generation of leaders through the stories of iconic Latino leaders. Our goal is to connect seasoned leaders with emerging Latina and Latino leaders to uplift our community. The Rising Star Award was established in 2019 to recognize an emerging Latino/Latina leader who has demonstrated exceptional promise, leadership, and commitment to the well-being of their community. Past honorees include MSNBC News Anchor Alicia Menendez, Atipica founder and CEO Laura Gomez, founder of the first LGBTQ+ gym in America Nathalie Huerta, and actor Xolo Maridueña.
